June 30, 2017 Edgewood-Park City Historic District Design Guidelines Workshop Powerpoint Presentation

Kaye Graybeal, who is Knoxville-Knox County Metropolitan Planning Commission’s Historic Preservation Planner, has provided follow up information on the June 30, 2017 community workshop on Edgewood-Park City Historic District Design Guidelines. All, thank you to those of you who provided input during last night’s Design Guidelines Workshop for Edgewood-Park City. Approximately 60 people attended and the discussion, which centered around the district expansion proposal as well as the design guidelines lasted from 6:00 to 8:00, with some staying afterwards for further discussion on more specific items pertaining to their property. Thank you to Knox Heritage for providing pizza from Pizza Palace and to Kim Trent for leading off the discussion. The powerpoint that was presented last night may be found at the following link:

The updated design guidelines will apply to the existing historic district overlay and would apply to the expansion area if it moves forward.
